Time Clock

BOLT XLR gives restoration crews a punch clock on the phone. Techs clock in and out at the job with the location stamped, even with no signal, and the hours land on that job as labor cost.

Clock In at the Job

The phone records the location at clock-in and clock-out, and nobody can type it in. The clock keeps working with no signal and syncs when the phone is back online.

Phone Punch Clock. Clock in and out on the phone, with or without a signal.

The Office Time Ledger

Entries are grouped by day with a shift bar, map pins, and notes. The office can add a missed entry, correct one, or clock someone out, and only an administrator can move an entry to another person or job.

Add or Correct Entries. Add a missed entry or fix one from the office.
Shift Checks. Shifts over 16 hours and clock times more than a few minutes ahead are refused.

Hours as Labor Cost

Every hour clocked on a job lands on it as labor cost. The job shows total hours, the daily average, and typical clock times, and Job Profitability counts the labor with every other cost.

Send Time to QuickBooks

Time entries go to QuickBooks Online when you send them, one at a time or in bulk, once each user is linked to a QuickBooks employee. Time is not part of the scheduled sync, and an entry edited after it was sent is marked so you know to send it again.

Manual Push. Send entries one at a time or in bulk.
Edited Entries Flagged. A changed entry that was already sent is marked to send again.
CSV Export. QuickBooks time as a CSV file from the Export page.

Common Questions

Does the time clock work without a signal?

Yes. The phone clock keeps working with no signal and syncs when the phone is back online.

Is the location recorded?

Yes. The phone records the location at clock-in and clock-out, and the office can open both on a map. The location cannot be edited.

Does time sync to QuickBooks on its own?

No. Time is sent to QuickBooks Online by hand, one entry at a time or in bulk, after each user is linked to a QuickBooks employee.
