Mold Remediation

The mold remediation protocol keeps the containment log and the clearance results on the job. Crews record each check from the phone, and the report shows the adjuster or the indoor environmental professional what was done and when.

Plan and Protocol

Record whether an indoor environmental professional wrote the plan or your company did, attach the IEP protocol, and write the restoration work plan. The checklist runs in phases from assessment through setup, remediation, and verification to close out.

  • IEP or Internal Plan. The plan source, the IEP details, and the protocol PDF stay on the job.
  • Phased Checklist. Assess, Set Up, Remediate, Verify, and Close Out.
  • Room Conditions. Condition 1, 2, or 3 and the affected square feet for each room.

Containment Zones and Pressure Checks

Build each zone with its containment level and a target pressure. Once its rooms are sized, the zone shows its air changes per hour. Every containment check records the pressure, the integrity, the scrubbers, and the CO detector.

  • Containment Levels. Source, limited, or full containment, with a suggestion based on size.
  • Pressure Checks. Each reading shows on target, below target, or not negative.
  • Daily Log. Each day shows whether every zone was up, and gaps stand out.
  • Logger Import. Load readings from a pressure logger CSV file.

Clearance Rounds

Record a post-remediation evaluation or verification for each zone, with the performer, the samples, and the lab reports. A zone that fails adds re-clean steps to the checklist.

  • PRE and PRV Rounds. In-house or independent, with an independence disclosure for an in-house PRV.
  • Samples and Lab Reports. Spore trap, tape lift, swab, and other samples with their results.
  • Zone Clearance. Each zone shows cleared or not cleared yet.

A Protocol Report You Can File

The report carries the rooms and zones, the containment log, breaches, air changes per hour, deviations and explanations, independence disclosures, and photos.

  • Printable Protocol Report. Print it or save it as a PDF.
  • Company Settings. Edit step lists and mold numbers to match how your company works.
  • Records on the Log. Every record shows who made it and when.

Common Questions

Can I import readings from a pressure logger?

Yes. Import a CSV file with a time column and a pressure column, in pascals or inches of water column.

Can an independent party clear a zone?

Yes. Each clearance round records whether the performer was in-house or independent, with their name, company, and license.

Every plan includes the mold remediation protocol.
